SHIELD, Dorothy Fay 'Fay'

Of Maryborough, formerly of Mackay and Longreach. Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, 15th March, 2022 aged 75. Much loved and wonderful wife, mother and grandmother to her devoted husband Denis, children Tathia and Justin and adoring grandchildren Imogen, Eliza, Angus, Lakem and Amaya. Loved sister to William and June (dec’d), sister-in-law, mother-in-law and aunt to Thelma and Brian, Lorna (dec’d), Clive (dec’d) and June (dec’d), Malcolm, Narelle and Glenda.

God saw the road was getting rough,

the hill was hard to climb.

He gently closed your loving eyes

and whispered… “it is time.”

A service in memory of Fay will be held at a date to be advised due to unforeseen circumstances.
