Doris Falidis-Nickolas’ poetry beautifully captures love, loss, and remembrance, offering comfort to those navigating grief.
SITA, Giuseppina Mum, Words cannot describe how I feel as a part of me is now empty that you are no longer here. The hardest thing is that I will never be able to see your beautiful smile again or kiss you. I will especially cherish the times we spent together towards the end. It was a privilege and an honour to be your son, I couldn t have asked for a better mother you were always there for me without fail rain, hail or shine. You are now at peace and no longer suffering. You are now reunited with dad again and I know he will look after you. Until we meet again I will never forget you and what you did for me. Rest in Peace Love always Your Melo xx Dear Pina Thank you for always welcoming me into your life with open arms, I will always treasure the times I have spent with you and all that you taught me. Fly high with the angels and forever Rest in Peace. You will forever be missed. All my love, Samantha xx Nonna, I feel privileged and honoured to be given your name and I will cherish you forever. You taught me so much throughout my life. The endless cooking lessons and the countless times you would fix a hole in my clothing before I would leave the house and we can t forget how you would make me wash the concrete before a night out. Thank you for loving me and teaching me your ways. I hope I have made you proud. We will never forget you. We love you Nonna, Rest in Peace. Love Josephine and Anthony xx Dear Nonna Thank you for playing a huge role in my life. Thank you for coming to my dancing concerts and being a part of my confirmation at St Pauls. I will truly miss you, but I know that you are now at peace with Nonno. Love Charlotte xx
