SLATER (nee Lawrence). - Rita May May 1, 1911 - Nov. 2, 2008 Passed away peacefully at Paynesville Nursing Home. Now with her beloved husband, Edgar Francis "Hec", once more and reunited with her beloved son, Brian. Loving mother of Ian and mother-in-law of Barbara. Cherished Ma of Adam (dec.), Martin, Jane and their partners Lisa and Brendon. Sister of Leslie, James and Enid (all dec.). A lifetime of service to the communities of Casterton, Camperdown, Murchison, Mooroopna, Brunswick, Essendon and Paynesville through the Girl Guides, CWA, Red Cross, Croquet Clubs and the Methodist and Uniting Churches. Our sincere thanks to Dr Peter Lindstedt and the staff of Domain Paynesville Hostel and Nursing Home for their sensitive and personal care of Rita over the past six years. Privately cremated at her wish
