Lord’s Prayer
for
the people

Our Father, which art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy will be done in earth, As it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive them that trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
The power, and the glory, For ever and ever.
Amen.

We the Family of Suzanne apologize to our mourners; due to the current regulations and restrictions, we have only been able to have a blend of 10 immediate and extended Family members or Friends attending our combined Funeral Service and brilliant take-away Wake.

Due to our Mother Suzanne’s warmth, loveliness, hospitable personality she would have wished that every person that wanted to, should come to her send off. Hopefully some of you were able to computer view her Memorial Service. Thank you W.D. Rose for allowing us to have such a fantastic Celebration of Suzanne’s Life with a near 10 people.

Our Mother died because of COVID-19. No, she did not catch that virus. But!!! Her health was weakened because of it - due to a deep silent unhappiness caused by not being able to be visited by immediate Family, extended Families, Friends, Singers and Musicians.

Again, due to COVID-19 restrictions unfortunately we had to also reduce the length of time her daily extra carers came to attend to her, from 4 hours to 2 hours. Consequently she did not receive their much needed vigilant expertise and support which covered all areas of care, including much affection, entertainment, companionship and human warmth.

We feel great misery and combined resentment, again we curse this blessed disease that we, the worlds people (as yet?) have deemed unable to find a medical vaccination (immunisation) that could save the people.

Our hearts go out to all the people in Victoria who are in a similar situation of not being able to give their own Friends and Relatives the love and warmth and attention they all need to survive! Thank you from Suzie to the magnificent people at Elanoura and to all of Suzanne’s life long Friends, Acquaintances and Families who could not be with us to farewell Suzanne.
Much love to all of you, from The Smiths
