Devoted Grandfather of Nick (dec), Claire, Zoe, Phoebe, Toby, Bronwyn, Julian, Will and Lachie. Proud Great Grandfather of Max, Leela, Alby, Felix and Sam.

Eldest son of the late Win and Harry Smithies (Burnie), brother of Bill (dec), Lorna (Mrs Des Watts) and Peter. A respected Uncle.

Brian requested the simplest possible departure and was privately cremated.
