Late of Brisbane, formally of Burleigh Heads and Caloundra.
Val was a talented and creative florist, gardener, embroiderer and tutor of the fine arts to many.
She had an eye for detail which was evident in her intricate embroidery designs.
These often featured her beloved native birds feasting on blossom growing throughout her garden.
Val was a proud 6th generation Australian, descended from pioneers of 1791.
The early Winten’s were explorers, graziers, horse breeders and engineers.
Val was a St Margaret’s Old Girl and a keen golfer for much of her life.
She was a businesswoman and a loyal, steadfast friend.
She will be greatly missed by her family
and all those close to her.
A life well lived.
