It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mother, mother-in-law and Yia Yia, Evangelina, who passed away peacefully at Lourdes Valley Lodge on March 13, 2019.

Loving wife of Sam (deceased).

Adored mother and mother-in-law of Vasilia (deceased), Peter and Niki, Anne and Garry, Mitch and Dianne.

Treasured and much loved Yia Yia of Annie, Samantha and Tim, Michael, Samuel, William, Evan, Holly, and Jasper.

Yia Yia Bird, Your love and recipes will be dearly cherished. Rest in Peace. Love Peter and Niki, Sam, William and Evan.

Mum, Words cannot convey the sadness we feel now that you’ve left us. You instilled such wonderful values and your kindness, generosity,dignity and sense of humour have been wonderful life lessons. Your love of family foremost had us flocking to your house to enjoy the most amazing food ever – the tantalizing smell is foremost in our minds and something we will always remember. To our beautiful mother, mother-in-law and Yia Yia, Thank you for our wonderful memories, for the love and encouragement, help and kindness, you have always shown. We will miss you terribly – your cooking, your wit, your singing, your shoes, your cheeky smile. Love you forever Ma, Mitch, Dianne and Holly.

My dearest Yia Yia, I was so blessed to have you as my grandmother. I have loved all our times together. Thank you for looking after me and mum. Kiss her for me when you meet. I love you my Little One, Annie
