Remembered lovingly by her surviving siblings, Glenda, Peter, Jeanette and Debbie, and now reunited with siblings, Colin (dec'd), John (dec'd) and Cliff (dec'd).
She grew up in Nerang and when she was younger she loved to dress up, dance and have a beer or two with friends. She was a cook for many years at the Burleigh Hotel and Mobil at Coomera. Her customers will remember her fondly for her kind demeanour & great cooking. Favourite pastimes included boating (even though she couldn't swim), fishing and camping. She also loved doing puzzles and playing bingo and scrabble.
More recently she has loved indulging herself with cappuccino and cake, especially from McDonalds or The Coffee Club. She loved sewing for her children and grandchildren, and in the past was an avid market stall holder. Her great grandchildren loved the jumpers & beanies she knitted for them, and in return she got a kick out of seeing their happy little faces. It also made her happy to do geocaching trips with Donna where they could end up absolutely anywhere, and often did!
The last 10 years were tough with medical issues and being widowed. She was definitely a battler, but the last fight with pneumonia and sepsis was just too much for her body to take. She was surrounded by family in the Hervey Bay Hospital as she finally drifted off.
Privately cremated.
