The Language of Us
Doris Falidis-Nickolas’ poetry beautifully captures love, loss, and remembrance, offering comfort to those navigating grief.
To my uncle Fotis,
I know you didn’t want to pass away so early as you had so much more that you wanted to enjoy. You worked very hard and retired late in life.
We had many fun nights in the Casino and I will miss seeing you there.
You were my second father that I could ring you at any time and get your advice.
I will sadly miss you.
You may Rest In Peace now and not suffer any more.
You will never be forgotten love you your Nephew
