The Language of Us
Doris Falidis-Nickolas’ poetry beautifully captures love, loss, and remembrance, offering comfort to those navigating grief.
SUTTON. - Herbert James (Bert), suddenly at home on Nov. 11, 2004. Loved and loving husband of Jean, loved father and father-in- law of Neil, Ian and Mai, Kaye and Allen, Glen and Jaye, Doug and Brenda. Cherished Pa of 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. The clock of life is wound but once, And no man has the power, To tell just when the hands will stop, At late or early hour. Now is the only time you own, Live, love, toil with a will. Place no faith in tomorrow, For the clock may then be still.
