It is with much sadness that we note that beloved Christies Beach SLSC Founding Member Sidney Sweet passed away at the age of 85.

Sidney will long be remembered as a huge influence on the lives of so many locally.

It was his vision and the vision of other Founding Members that see Christies Beach enter their 65th year as a Surf Life Saving Club.

On behalf of the Christies Beach SLSC, we extend our condolences to the Sweet family.
