We are connected my friend and I by an invisible cord not seen by the eye.
It binds us together attached to my heart and
I've known its there right from the start.
And though you are gone and not here with me
the cord is still there that no one can see.
I'm thankful we are connected this way

Death can't take away.
70 years of wonderful friendship.
