Ross passed away peacefully at 90 years of age on the Gold Coast. He was loved by his wife Sandra, his children Kym, Scott and Liza'l, grandchildren Joshua, Evan, Daniel and Jamie, and great-grandchild Scotty.

Ross was privately cremated.
