THOMPSON, Francene Margaret at Fairhaven, Maryborough, 24/01/2024, aged 84 years. Recently of Childers, formerly of Townsville. Loved mother and grandmother of Truscott families, including Nick, Rebecca, Matthew and Chris Truscott and Ann Whyte, stepmother/grandmother Thompson family, sister of Carmel and Coral (dec.) and aunt of Michael, Debra, Robert and Gavin. Born in Ayr, the daughter of Wilha (Nana Delaney) and Frank Mayes, Francene's healing skills and spiritual talents were realised later in life and gave her fulfilment and final peace. She wrote: "Don't grieve for me, I am not there, I'm flying high as the breeze. The pain has gone my spirit is free. Be happy for me".
