THOMPSON, Ronald Samuel (Ron) Late of Cairns, Passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on the 23rd April, 2019 Aged 84 years. Treasured husband of Beth. Loved father and father-in-law of Shane and Silvana, Graeme and Karen, Clay and Tracey. Loved Poppie of Luke and Isabella; Rachel, Matthew and Danielle; and Matisse. Ron s family wishes to acknowledge the care and help given to Ron and them by Dr Michael Smith and palliative care nursing staff. Without their help we would not have managed to keep Ron at home as was his wish. Thank you. In keeping with his wishes Ron was privately cremated Monday, 29th April 2019.
