THORN, Past District Governor Colin The President and Members of the Rotary Club of Largs Bay, mourn the passing of esteemed past member and president Colin Thorn. Colin joined Rotary in Port Lincoln in 1987 from that time onwards there was hardly a area of rotary untouched by his influence. In 1995 he joined the Rotary Club of Largs Bay, taking on the tasks of Bulletin Editor and Club Secretary followed by the presidency in 1999-2000. He was most excited at being elected District Governor of Rotary International for 2005-2006 and looked forward to the role he subsequently carried out so well. For meritorious service to rotary at club, district and international level, Colin was awarded Paul Harris Fellow recognition. Members extend their condolences to Joy and family in their loss.
