In loving memory of our Mummy, our love and sunshine, Anastasia Litsa Toumbas: a woman of unparalleled strength, selflessness, and love. You taught us everything we know, instilling in us your faith in God, love, respect, humility, empathy and kindness.
You showed us how to put God first, family and faith and to care for everyone around us. Through your endless acts of generosity and charitable works - volunteering, donating to boundless causes you were passionate about, and helping those in need - you embodied compassion. From preparing and delivering meals with Theia Suzy to serving on the Church Committee, visiting and volunteering to assist residents in nursing homes, and christening children in Madagascar and Fiji as part of your missionary work, your life was a testament to love in action.
A true fighter, you faced life’s challenges with unwavering faith in God and positivity, inspiring us to follow your resilient path. Your smile lit up every room, and your love touched everyone you met.
You were enthusiastic about your academia, career and work life, always attentive to how you could positively impact the lives of everybody whose path you crossed. You embraced everyone you met with kind-heartedness and wanted to make your customers feel better before they walked out the door, and you always loved being a part of all your customers’ special milestone events throughout their life journeys.
Your legacy will continue for your passion for your culture and traditions; these were so important to you, and we will do our utmost best to be as considerate and pass your ethos and morals on to your grandchildren, who you loved and cared for as your own.
We were your life, and you were ours.
We are so blessed to have called you Glykia Manoula and Yiayia. If we become even a fraction of the extraordinary person you were,
we know we will have made you proud.
Forever in our hearts,
Your loving daughters,
Mersini, Debbie, Iliana
and sons-in-law, John and Bobby.
In Loving Memory of Our Beloved Yiayia,
It still doesn’t feel real that you are no longer with us. Yiayia, you will be so deeply missed by all of us. You were the most amazing Yiayia, with a heart of gold and a beautiful soul that inspired everyone whose
lives you touched. You were the cornerstone of our family and the guiding light of our faith. You taught us the importance of loving God and living our lives with faith at the center. You made sure we never missed a church service, always picking us up no matter what. Because of you, we learned to cherish our faith, a gift that we will carry forward and share with our own children one day, God willing.
The memories we shared with you are ones we will hold onto forever. From all of the sleepovers at your house where we felt so loved and cared for, to you singing to us all your favourite songs in the car on the way to school, to our fun trips to Queensland filled
with memories.
Thank you for everything, Yiayia. We will never forget all the lessons you taught us. We pray that God will have mercy on your soul. We also pray that one day we will meet again in heaven.
May your memory be eternal, and may you rest in peace. We love you so much, Yiayia, and you will live on in our hearts forever.
Love all your grandchildren.
Our beloved sister Litsa who left us too soon now an Angel in God’s Paradise we will sadly miss you forever in our hearts you will be.
All our love, your loving sister Suzy, brother-in-law Tim, Yianni, Marie and family, Iliana, Matthew and family.
