On a Hazy Sunday afternoon. Surrounded by family Amanda passed away peacefully at the Austin Hospital in Heidelberg, a hospital where she worked for over 10 years, overlooking Heidelberg where she lived for many years, while her two football teams Sydney and Richmond battled it out at the MCG.
Amanda lived in Bundoora and the surrounding area for the majority of her life, looking after others, helping raise her siblings from a young age, then having first Robert Allan at 17yrs, then Craig William just after her 36th birthday. Partner to John William Munro in the 1990's. A mostly single mum who raised two young men while working at The Austin hospital then later in disability and aged care.
At barely 4ft 9 and a half!, a strong, and independent person who made an impact everywhere she went.
Amanda will be dearly missed by those who knew her.
A memorial will be held at a later date.
