It is with sadness and comfort that we share with you news of mums passing, after a short battle with cancer. The last 7 mths have not been pleasant for mum but a dream she had has been.
We would like to share that dream she remembered and talked about with us all. A dream with our father. I've been on my own but not alone. Then you opened the door and in an instant we were together again. The walls of this Welsh pub were covered with bright red, green, white and blue feathers, the colour so bright it was startling.
We sat, we talked, we laughed, pure magic would not describe this feeling of love.
There were toby jugs, shamrock jugs, beefeater jugs, jugs with the clans of Scotland, I had never felt such a feeling of pure magic. Once a dream now her reality, no longer alone, no longer with pain. Now in comfort and an eternal life home with dad. We will abide by mums wishes. There will be no public funeral, no fan fair no parade. Her legacy will be her 4 children, Maria, Andrew, Mark and Paul their spouses, Geoff, Leanne, Karen, Erica her grand children Kevin and Jen, Alyson and Blake, Stephanie and James, Lachlan and Sadie, Stacey, Hayden, Bianca, Hugh and Archie. With her great grand children Olivia, Isabella and Ilaria.
