Passed away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday, 14th January 2025. Dearly loved husband of Ann. Stepdad to David, Allison, and their families. Beloved son of Eva and Peter Wakefield (both dec). Much loved brother of Jeanette, Elsie, Lorraine, Sue (all dec), Mary and family. ‘Will miss our chats’ Dad, Poppy, always larger than life, thank you for being you. From the very beginning with Mum, loving, providing and teaching us as we grew (even when I thought I knew better) and then you with Ann, always there with support and love through everything. You were my number 1 supporter always, no matter what…thank you! You loved and supported your grandchildren Zach, Jake, Montana, Annabelle, Jasper and (later) Gabe, deeply and unconditionally and oh how they adored you, loved you and idolised you for that. We love you and now that you are gone, our lives have been changed forever. Loved father of Tricia and Scott. Grandfather of Emily, Eliza and Laura and his great-grandchildren. No words can describe how we are feeling. We will love you always. Privately cremated at his request.
