Loving wife of David Alan (dec.). Cherished Mother of Wendy (dec.), Mark, Cheryl and Julie. Mother-in-law of Katrina and Gary. Much loved Nana of Megan, Thomas, Alexandra and Charlotte.

Rest Peacefully Mum,

You taught me the power of love by loving me unconditionally. You taught me the meaning of true love by the love you shared with Dad. You taught me kindness and generosity by always giving of yourself to others. You taught me the importance of family and friends by opening your heart to every one that came into our home. You taught me how to be strong and independent by encouraging me to follow my dreams. Your arms were always open when I needed a hug. Your heart understood when I needed a friend. Your strength and love guided me and gave me the courage to fly. Bettsie, you are finally at peace and back in the arms of your devoted Tigee.

My Mother passed away this week and it is very sad, but we are relieved she is no longer suffering. My mother created a home that provided safety, guidance, structure, laughter and love. For this I will forever be grateful and will try to emulate this for my family.
