It is with great sorrow and heartfelt sadness that the Watson family announce the passing of such a wonderful man.
William Watson known as Bill
Born 17/12/1923 in Liverpool England. Bill was a people person and touched many in his long sometimes hard but wonderful life. He was kind, thoughtful, caring and inspirational he always put others first. Dad was full of life and stories from his past so much so he wrote and published several books about his life, even though he was partially sighted, his memory of people and places never left him. Reaching the grand age of 99 he died peacefully at home in his sleep on 25/02/2023 after a brief illness. Dad will now be reunited with his late wife of 74 years, Frances and his ashes to be scattered with mum on Southport beach UK as per his wish.
Dad will be sadly and deeply missed by his surviving family, friends and all that had the pleasure of knowing him.
