The Language of Us
Doris Falidis-Nickolas’ poetry beautifully captures love, loss, and remembrance, offering comfort to those navigating grief.
1947 - 2019
Grief is the last act of love
We have to give to those we love
Where there is deep grief there is great love
He loved his family
He loved his work
He loved his cars and tractors
He loved his animals
A life full of love
When the world said give up
Hope whispered try it one more time
Don’t cry because it’s over
Smile because he was here
— Watt Clan & families, and all his boys he was so proud of.
