WAUCHOPE, Fr William.In pace Christi.The bishop, clergy and people of the Diocese of Port Pirie record their sadness at the death of their brother priest Fr Bill Wauchope, who died peacefully in the Port Pirie Hospital on Saturday evening, September 27, 2014.Fr Bill was 87 years old, and was ordained to the priesthood on July 19, 1953. He served in nine parishes of the Diocese, including Renmark, Whyalla, Inland Mission/Hawker, Cleve, Port Lincoln, Minnipa, Loxton, Woomera/Roxby Downs and Jamestown and retired to Port Pirie in 2005.He animated all with his spirit of enthusiasm and delight in priestly service. To his surviving siblings Sr Carmel SGS, Geraldine and Frank and extended family, and to all those who worked so closely with him, we extend our condolences and sharewith them prayers of thanksand our faith in the risen Lord
