Formerly Makim, nee Scott Late of Regis Kuluin, formerly “Ivanhoe” and “wilga Warrina”, North Star. Born 27th October 1923, Died 13th April 2020. Champion rider, riding instructor NEGS, show judge, journalist and author.

Wife of Alexander Makim (dec’d) and Keith Robert Willing (dec’d). Mother of Margaret, Sallie, Alex, Harold and John. Grandmother of Abigail, Seamus, Ayesha, Digby, Jack, Alex and Winston. Great Grandmother of Vincent, Quintin, Georgina, Albert and Poppy Jane.

Gene was privately farwelled by her close family in Goondiwindi on Monday 20th April.
