Bernadette died peacefully after a short illness on

May 6, 2024.

A much-loved member of our Holy Cross Congregation, Bernadette’s fidelity to her Dominican vocation was expressed particularly in her work as an educator in our schools, where she was a skilled teacher of Early Years children for many years.

We will remember Bernadette for the joy, energy and enthusiasm that marked her life, even in older age, and for her gentle and welcoming presence at Columba Place, Cabra.

We express our prayerful sympathy to her brother, Jim, and her extended family in Ireland.

We wish to thank the staff of the Emergency Department and 9G (RAH) who so ably assisted Bernadette in the last days of her life.
