WOLLASTON- Romola

Died gently and peacefully at Arcare Point Lonsdale on 23 September 2021, aged 94 years.

Loved sister of Elise, Phillip (also known as Dick), and Terry - and friend of Sylvia (all deceased).

Very special friend of Sandra and Martin, David, Stuart and Jenn, and their families.

Treasured “Aunty” of Justin, friend of Margaret and James, and contributor to the life of the Queenscliff Point Lonsdale Uniting Church. Romola shined brightly in many lives: her family and friends, the pre-schoolers she nurtured, the faith communities she cared for, the Brownies and Guides she encouraged, the gardens and gardeners she helped flourish, and all she met at home and on her many and varied travels.

We are deeply saddened by her passing, relieved that her struggles of recent years are over, but remain profoundly blessed that Romola has been part of our lives. Her light will shine forever in our hearts. Our heartfelt thanks to the staff of Arcare Point Lonsdale who cared compassionately and unswervingly for Romola in her final four years.

We will hold a Service of Thanksgiving for Romola’s life later this year when easing Covid restrictions allow her family and friends to gather in Queenscliff.
