My husband, my best friend, my world. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect partner, a more loving father to our children, a more devoted Nonno to our grandchildren. Thank you for all you have done for us and all that you were. Though your smile is gone forever and your hand I cannot touch, I still hold all the memories of the one I love so much.
Forever my husband, forever my best friend, forever my world. Forever yours, Franca.
Dad,
I was truly blessed and fortunate to see and speak to you almost every day of my life. When I was a young boy, your passion for an industry you spent your life working in, inspired me to follow in your footsteps. I now strive to leave the industry in a better place than I found it. Just as you did. That same passion also inspired your only grandson to do the same. You taught us all so many life lessons that we will carry with us forever. You taught us the real value of hard work, what true loyalty and respect is all about, and that actions always speak louder than words. I had so much more I wanted and needed to say to you, but I hope my actions spoke louder than my words. Dad, you can leave this earth with the knowledge that you left an indelible mark not only on the family that loved and adored you, but on the many lives you touched along your journey. Life will never be the same.
I’ve lost my dad, and one of my best friends, but your legacy will live on.
Rest in peace our hero, we’ll love you always. Enzo and Eleni.
Dad,
You were my everything. A father, mentor, boss and best mate.
I had the honour and the privilege to work alongside you for over 30 years.
You taught me what could be achieved with hard work and discipline.
You also showed me the importance of honour, respect and loyalty, and how to build strong relationships,
treating everyone with equal respect.
Your passion, energy and drive for the building industry was only surpassed by
your unwavering love and commitment to your family.
Dad, our hearts are broken and life as we know it will never be the same again.
But we find comfort in the knowledge that you lived life to the fullest until you had nothing left in the tank.
You left a legacy that is beyond measure.
We will always love you and we will never forget you.
Rob and Vanessa
To our Nonno,
A thousand words won’t bring you back. We know because we’ve tried.
Neither will a thousand tears. We know, because we’ve cried. We lost our biggest fan and our harshest critic. Your sharp tongue and ingenious wit always kept us laughing and in awe of you. Your wisdom and your undeniable strength has shaped us. For all that and a million more, we thank you. We wish we had more time with you. We have so many more arguments left in us and we would give anything to hear you bite back. But more time with you would still never be enough. There won’t be a day we don’t miss you. You’ll forever hold a monumental and untouchable piece of our hearts,
and we will continue to thank our lucky stars that of everyone in this world, God gave us you as our Nonno.
We love you forever and ever, tanto tanto.
Your grandchildren, Stephanie, Zoe, Vincent, Olivia, Julia and Siena.
