Barnaby, Barbara Anne (nee Bourne) passed away peacefully with Paul by her side on 31 July 2023, after a courageous battle with motor neurone disease.
Much loved wife of Paul, and only daughter of Harry and Eleanor Bourne (both deceased). Much admired by her New Zealand family: Tim and Paula, Greg and Jenny, Sarah and Matt, and Bex and Hugh and all their children
Grateful thanks for all of the love and care that has been shared with both Paul and Barb by family, friends and carers over the last 18 months.
As per Barb’s wishes, a private cremation has been held. A celebration of Barb’s life will be held on Thursday 31 August at 4pm at the United Service Club, 183 Wickham Terrace, Brisbane. Please join family and friends in wearing bright colours to share our memories.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Royal Flying Doctor Service or to the MND and Me Foundation.
