In joyful and loving memory of Laurent Joachim Breau, born 9 April 1934 died 29 May 2022 survived by his wife Jill Matheson Breau, son Adrian Fabrice and wife Alida, son Adam and partner Fiona and grand-children Aveline, Aurora and Charlie.
He started life born in a blacksmith shop, near the forge, in deep snow in Moncton New Brunswick Canada. On the farm until he finished school, he joined the Royal Canadian Air Force servicing Lancasters. Best known as a teacher then manager and owner of various Arthur Murray Dance Studios in Australia. He taught thousands of people to dance with many students and his staff still in contact after 20 years in retirement. He was active in the the Brisbane Central Lions Club, the Alliance Francaise where he was President for more than 15 years and the Contact Club Brisbane. A man of great charm, wit and depth. We will miss you.
The funeral will be held on 7 June 2022 at 12 Noon at the Mt Gravatt Crematorium found at 620 Mains Road, MacGregor, QLD, 4109. A small gathering after at the Southern Cross Sports Club located at the corner of Klumpp and Logan Roads, Upper Mount Gravatt. No flowers please but cards or letters are welcome.
