CALLANAN, John David

Passed away at home 7 June 2022 in The Gap, Brisbane.

John was born in Brisbane on 24 March 1952 and was the eldest child of Hilda May Callanan (nee Fray) and John David Callanan Snr. Dearly loved brother, father, grandfather and uncle. Barrister-At-Law and highly respected public servant. John was a true sports tragic, music lover and pun enthusiast.

Leaves behind brother Barry, children David, Katherine and Robert, and grandchildren Hugo, Gene, Ted, Finn, Angus and Hadley. John also leaves behind former partners Beryl, mother of his three children, and Katrina. John will also be missed by Katrina's family, Claire, Caitlin, Hema and Zykah.

A funeral service will be held at George Hartnett Metropolitan Funerals Kelvin Grove at 2.30pm on 17 June 2022. All welcome. In lieu of flowers, please make charitable donations to The Heart Foundation.
