Died calmly and fulfilled, with family by his side, at St Andrew's War Memorial Hospital on Monday, 5th October 2020 after a brief battle with lung cancer.
Adored husband of Leslyn (dec'd). Deeply-loved father of Gayle and cherished father-in-law of Nick. Treasured Pa of Charlie, Tess and Annabelle, and much-loved Papa of Abigail, Elliott, Isla, Matilda and Rhona.
Charles (Cliff) was a successful businessman and joint founder of Ashdown Enterprises. He was a generous benefactor to the Church of England Grammar School, The Glennie School, Vision Australia, and many other worthy causes.
Cliff was a beacon and made positive impacts on so many lives. He was generous with his time, guidance, and humour. A keen angler, crab fisherman, golfer, and football follower, but for Cliff, family always came first.
His funeral service will be held Friday, 16th October 2020. Due to current restrictions, guests must be pre-registered and numbers are limited.
