Quincy Jones
Remembering Quincy Jones: the legendary music icon, producer, and philanthropist whose profound influence spanned over seven decades and inspired generations.
DALRYMPLE, Lucy Betty Rhead
Late of Ferndale Garden, Mortdale, Born in Griffith, 1927, a practical Daughter of Yorkshire, of Chatwood and Earlwood, died peacefully at rest, to be joined with her John, Robert and Karen.
Known to all as Betty, she was a Daughter to Frank and Edith Rhead, a Sister to Geoffrey Rhead (deceased), an office worker, “Miss Sensible” to London and Lancashire Insurance, a beloved Wife to John T.F. Dalrymple (deceased), a Mother to Robert and Karen (both deceased) and Garry, a Mother-in-law to Ruth, a Grandmother to Janene, Grandmother-in-law to Alex, and finally, a Great Grandmother to our blessing, little Theodore.
For all her days of her long life we will miss her, but all the good that she brought into the world abides, as long as her cherished memory remains.
By Request, No flowers, the family would prefer donations to be made in lieu to Leukaemia Research.
A Thanksgiving Service for her life will be held at 10.30am Tuesday 26th November at St Aidan's Hurstville Grove.
