Queensland Police Service officer Senior Constable Dave Masters tragically lost his life on the morning of Saturday, 26th June 2021 in the execution of his duty. Senior Constable Masters was 53 years old and is survived by his wife Sharon and son Jack. Senior Constable Masters performed duties at Redcliffe, Bribie Island, Mounted Unit and Deception Bay. He is remembered by his colleagues and community as a well-loved member of the Moreton district, who dedicated his time to keeping others safe. A funeral Service with full Police Honours will be held as follows: All serving and retired police officers and staff members are welcome to attend, however it is anticipated there will be COVID-19 restrictions and further information will be provided regarding number limits. The funeral will also be livestreamed and is expected to be broadcast live on television.
