DIXON, Robert {Bob} Terrence Patrick

Bob passed away peacefully in Cairns QLD on the
8th of January, 2024.
He was 80 years of age.
Bob arrived in Darwin in 1972 and forged a successful
career as a local businessman spanning almost 50years,
he has founded multiple businesses amongst of
which All About Lounges
was his last business which operated for 22 years and provided the Darwin community with
beautiful lounges sourced
worldwide. The business
was well respected in the
industry. He was a generous man, sacrificing being
with his family after the events of Cyclone Tracey
in 1974. Bob returned to Darwin to help rebuild the community and volunteered to help rebuild Darwin.
One of his businesses was the first local company to build 170 cyclone proof homes.
He will be remembered
and celebrated by locals
as a pillar of the
Darwin community.

His service will be a private family affair in Cairns QLD
on Monday the
15th of January 2024.
He is survived and adored by his wife Ann, his children
and grandchildren.
