Aged 85 years. Late of Port Douglas.


It is with great sadness that we share the peaceful passing of Roderick Denis Donovan (Rod) on the 21st May 2022.


Most dearly loved husband of Virginia (Ginni).

Much loved father and father-in-law of Brad & Emma

and Damien & Risa.

Treasured poppa of Isabella & Oliver and Kai & Luka.

Loved brother of Colleen, uncle to Nicole & Julieanne.


In keeping with Rod's wishes, a private cremation will be held. A Memorial Service for Rod will be held at St Mary's by the Sea, Port Douglas on Thursday 9th June at 3.00pm.
