Noel passed away peacefully aged 88, surrounded by family. Son of Len and Jesse. Survived by his cherished wife of 68 years June, children Larry, Suzi, Judy, Lennie, and grandchildren and great-grandchildren who adored him as their Poppy. He will be forever missed and always remembered.
A shearer in his youth. Owner of Dowling's Store Cunnamulla (1955-1966), Dowling’s Delicatessen in Gladstone (1968-1975) and driver of #7 taxi. Later Barraba taxi and school bus driver. Noel shared a long and happy retirement with June travelling the open road together. And he remained a lawn bowls champion to the end!
A service celebrating Noel's life will be held on Friday 14th July, 10:15am arrival for a 10:30am service start, at Gregson & Weight Noosaville, 202 Eumundi-Noosa Rd. A wake will follow in Pomona, all are welcome, please contact Tegan for details 0412 445... .
