Remembering Quincy Jones: the legendary music icon, producer, and philanthropist whose profound influence spanned over seven decades and inspired generations.
The family of the late DORIS JEAN EATHER (Nee Taylor) formerly of Walker St, Lismore, invites you to attend a celebration of her life. Doris passed away on the Gold Coast on the 11th of October.
Doris was the wife of John "Jack" Eather (Lismore High School teacher and East Lismore Bowling Club past President). Mother of Brian (deceased), Rod and Graham (Gigs) Eather, Grandmother of 6 and Great Grandmother of 5. Famed for her sewing prowess, Doris spent many years at New England Apparel (NEA), and was renowned for her costume work done for musicals presented by both Lismore and Ballina High Schools, and also made gowns and cotumes for local Balls and events. In her younger days she with was a member of East Lismore Hockey Club, and East Lismore Bowling Club.
