Late of Kawana, Kate was born and grew up in Mundubbera and had decades in Bundaberg, Woodgate, Maroochydore and Gympie. Her strong faith was most recently exemplified through her membership of Gympie Zion Lutheran Church and as Guild Treasurer for 20 years.

Kate’s gentleness, warmth, resilience, intellect and wit were embraced by all who knew her.

Loving wife of Kev (dec’d), Mother and Mother-in-law of Lorell & Alan, Katrina, Daryl & Di, Russel (dec’d), Wayne, Brad & Tracie. Cherished Nanna & Great Nanna of 8 Grandchildren & 8 Great Grand Children. Beloved Sister of Alma & Emily.

Kate passed away unexpectedly surrounded by family. Sincere thanks to ICU personnel at Sunshine Coast University Hospital for their care and support.

Family & friends are invited to attend the celebration of Kate’s life at St Marks Lutheran Church Caloundra on Friday 27th January at 11 am.
