 9th December 2019 Pure hearted, kind, and patient. Rick’s sense of adventure for travel was underpinned by a humble contentment that every moment was enough just as it was. He loved science, soccer, body surfing, and musical theatre. We the family, are heartened that when tragedy struck he was side by side with the love of his life Karla. Cherished son of Peter Elzer and Jeannie Bartram. Adored little brother of Mieke Elzer and big brother of Shannon Elzer and Amelia Elzer. Favourite uncle to Stella, Miles, Pursia and Atlanta. Your kind heart and bad jokes will be missed forever more. Aged 32 years Safe in the arms of your beloved. Way to go, bro!
