Of Hervey Bay and formerly of Redgate, Newcastle, Canberra, Hobart and Brisbane. Eldest son of Thomas and Edna (nee Palmer). Brother of Roslyn, Russell and Cari, Phillip and Angela. Beloved and treasured husband of Christine (nee Sexton). Proud father of Thomas, Nicolas and Clare, Marianne, Elizabeth and Mark (from first wife) and Margaret (nee McCallum). Adoring grandfather of Emily, Lachlan, Isla, Audrey and Archie.

A Celebration of Rod’s full and remarkable life will be from 12noon on Wednesday, 5th April at St John’s Anglican Church, Hervey Bay. Rod’s absolute faith in God sustained him always.
