Past Mayor of Palm Island & Bwgcolman Community Leader. Late of Palm Island. Thomas passed away at the Townsville University Hospital on Saturday 20th May 2023. Loving Husband of Gwendoline. Loved Father of Shae (deceased), Elizabeth, Betty, Louisa and Nerida Geia. Loving Dad Bulloo (Grandfather and Great Grandfather) to his Grandchildren and Great Grandchild, and in 'Murri Way' to many other children of family and kin. Beloved Brother of Elizabeth Hanson-Cozens (deceased), Virginia Malone, Magdalena Blackley, Jennifer Ketchell, Lynore Geia, Nathaniel Geia, Ron Geia, Naomi Geia, David Geia, and Valentine Nona-Clumpoint.

A respectful walk past VIEWING will commence at 10.00 a.m. SATURDAY MORNING 10th JUNE, 2023 at Geia's house at Bentley Street - All Welcome.

FUNERAL - will commence at 11.00 a.m. SATURDAY MORNING 10th JUNE, 2023 at PCYC Community Centre, Palm Island. The cortege will proceed to the Palm Island Cemetery.

A same day SeaLink Ferry will be available for travel to Palm Island from the Breakwater Terminal, Sir Leslie Thiess Drive: Leaving Townsville at 8am Saturday 10th June, and returning to Townsville from Palm Island at 4.15pm. Tickets can be purchased at the Ferry Terminal on the day of travel.
