Passed away peacefully at Maryborough Base Hospital on December 22, 2018. Dearly loved husband of Marlene, much loved father and father-in-law of Charles and Paulene, and Anne Maree. Loved Grand-dad of Nina and Ingrid. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Leah and Cyril Franke, Annette (Polly) and Neville (dec'd) Pearce, Wendy (dec'd) and Trevor Morton, Dorothy and Warren (dec'd) Christensen, William and Kaye (dec'd) Nitschinsk, Brian and Carol Nitschinsk. Loved uncle of their families, and loved nephew of Anne Miller.

Family and friends of Charlie are invited to attend his funeral service to be held in the Heritage Chapel, Maryborough Crematorium, Bruce Highway on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at 10am followed by interment in the Maryborough Garden of Rest Cemetery. Special thanks to Dr Paul Cotton and Dr Krishan Madhan, the staff of the renal units at Maryborough and Hervey Bay and the staff at Hervey Bay Hospital and Ward 3 at Maryborough Base Hospital.
