HOEKSEMA Aaltje (Alice)

Passed away peacefully at home on 7th December 2022 aged 86 years.

She was a beloved wife of Len for 66 years, a wonderful Mother to Gerda, Ann, Leny, Rodney and Donna, a cherished sister to Joop and Hans (dec’d) and a loving daughter, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, aunty, sister-in-law and friend.

Born in in the Netherlands and growing up during the war and post war years she understood what hard times meant. She migrated to Australia in 1956 and became a proud Australian supporting her husband and raising her children. Her love of family and friends was unwavering.

A celebration of her life will be held at Lakeview Chapel, Albany Creek Memorial Park, 400 Albany Creek Road, Bridgeman Downs on Monday 19th December 2022 at 2.00pm. Family and friends are welcome.
