Of Bacchus Marsh, Victoria, formerly of Everton Park, QLD. Beloved Son of Noeline (dec.) and David Burgess. Son-in-law to Diane and John Boks (of Cygnet, Tas). Dearly loved Husband of Maria and loving Father to Elysia & Jack. Sorely missed Brother to Stephen, Jane and Noel and Uncle to their children. Nephew to Graham, Reg and their families.

Died unexpectedly at home on the morning of 5th Sept. 2020. Best mate to many, particularly during his long and distinguished career in the RAAF, followed by his time as an Air Traffic Controller and his devoted commitment to his local community via the SES.

A Private Family Service will be held at Michael Crawford Funerals Chapel, Bacchus Marsh, Victoria on FRIDAY (Sept. 18, 2020) commencing at 1.30pm. A Private Cremation will follow.
