Of Toowoomba, born in Port Douglas. Passed away surrounded by her family on 9 May 2019, aged 89 years. Dearly loved Wife of Warren (dec’d). Much loved Mother and Mother-in-law of Jennifer, Garry and Debbie, Brian, Ann, Brad and Kelli, and Sharon. Adored Nana of her 12 Grandchildren and 7 Great-Grandchildren. Loved Sister of Shirley, Roy, Yvonne, Dianne, and Allan (dec’d). Much loved Sister-in-law and ‘Aunty Joan’ to the Bowen, James, Ashford and Rowan families.
Family and friends are warmly invited to attend a Farewell Service to Celebrate Joan’s life to be held at Heritage Chapel, 314 James Street, Toowoomba commencing at 10.30am on Wednesday, 15 May 2019 then proceeding to the Drayton & Toowoomba Cemetery, Cnr Anzac Ave and South St.
