DANSEY, Joan Rachel

9.2.1925 – 28.3.2021

Joan is survived by her three children: Susan, Richard and Vicky, eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Joan will be remembered for her many years spent supporting art on the Gold Coast from its infancy in the mid 1960’s to her retirement year of 2014. Joan’s sponsorship and mentoring of artists and their work provided the launch pad for many to be recognized not only locally but at times throughout the state and occasionally Australia wide. Joan’s whanau in New Zealand have been informed of her passing. Friends and family of Joan Dansey are invited to attend her funeral service to be held at Heritage Brothers Funeral Services Chapel, 43 Lower West Burleigh Road, Burleigh Heads on Thursday 8th April 2021 at 3pm (QLD time)
