Beloved husband to Molly Isabel Johnson (dec) and loving father of Ian, Peter and Heather, father-in- law to Ann and Jenni and brother and brother-in-law to Claire & Geoff(dec) Maddock.
Adored grandfather to his grandchildren & their partners, Stephen & Carly, Erica & Rob, Claire, Katherine & Tom and Brendan, loving great-grandfather to Chloe & Alicia, Kelly & Archie, Lily, Edie & Charlie.
Bachelor of Commerce at University of Tasmania, Member of Australian Society of Accountants, Distinguished Career in Commonwealth Bank 1941 - 1985 rising to position of General Manager International.
Military Service in R.A.N. from 1942 to 1946 ranging from Corvettes in early years to the cruiser
H.M.A.S. Shropshire in later war years. Sporting achievements include playing in the Southern Tasmanian Tennis Championships and playing First Grade Australian Rules in Hobart. In later years he continued to play tennis and bowls.
