JOSKO, Father Romuald Marian (“Father Rom”)

Passed away peacefully on 23 August 2021 at the age of 80 after concelebrating Mass at home. He was born in Germany and educated in Australia. A pharmacist by training, Fr Rom was ordained as the first Australian priest of the Prelature of Opus Dei in 1976.

His pastoral work took him to Sydney, Canberra, Perth, and New Zealand. He was greatly loved as a learned, zealous, and holy priest.
