Late of Mareeba, passed away peacefully Wednesday 12th May at home surrounded by her loving family. Devoted wife of Tom, mother of Tracey, Michelle, Amy and Kristy. Grandmother to Ava, Ashlyn, Aubrey, Aiden, Quinn and Ashley. Sister of Bill, Tina and Patricia, Aunt to many, and true friend to those who knew her. Mother-in-law to Craig Beikoff, Darren Rafter, Aaron Brewer, and Jim Butler.

The Relatives and Friends of Karen, Tom, and Families, Lions, Lioness,Pictionettes, Mahjong ladies, Highly Strung Ukulele group, and staff from the DPI and Magistrates Courts are respectfully invited to attend the FUNERAL of their Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Sister-in-law, Aunt, and friend Karen Louise Braes which will commence at 10.00 am TUESDAY MORNING 18TH May, 2021 at ROYALS CHURCH, 9 Park Avenue Mareeba. The service commences at 10:00 am, with time allocated from 9:00 am for attendees to pay their personal respects to Karen. The cortege will then proceed to the Mareeba Lawn Cemetery.

Karen asks you wear colourful clothes and in lieu of flowers donations to Australian Ovarian Cancer Council; Blue Care or Lions Medical Research Foundation are welcomed. Due to COVID requirements the funeral is ticketed but all are invited, asfull venue capacity is available.
